What "urethritis symptoms" do you have? Painful or uncomfortable urination alone, or pain in the penis, do not indicate urethritis if there is no discharge; and "clean" urinalysis also is against urethritis. When you see the urologist, discuss other possibilities for your symptoms. After those antibiotics, the chance of any infection in your urethra is near zero; a swab test wouldn't help.
