It appears that you may have sinusitis which may be causing some lower respiratory symptoms like congestive cough. It is good to be examined by your doctor. Alternatively you can talk to your doctor like a telemedicine appt. and get medications-especially antibiotics prescribed and also mucolytics .

You should see your doctor. Most coughs lasting this long are multi factorial. Acute bronchitis, bronchospasm, post-nasal drip, GERD, COPD are all common reasons for a chronic cough. You need all the factors contributing to the cough to be treated before the cough will go away. So, see your doctor to determine what treatment is needed. Good luck to you!
