It is good to have a manual BP machine to know your baseline BP. You can compare the manual readings with the the digital monitor and if they correlate, you can continue to take with digital monitor.

I think that digital blood pressure machines are pretty accurate. Is this the first time that this type of machine was used. Do you take medication for HBP. You can always ask if BP can be taken again.
