Pressure cuff: There really isn't a good way to "know your blood pressure" without using some sort of blood pressure cuff. You don't have to go to the hospital. There are devices sold that fit over your wrist or your upper arm which are not too expensive. Often you can have it done free at most pharmacies, by placing arm inside a sleeve and following some simple instructions.
