A member asked:

Would a high heart rate cause false reading on an electronic blood pressure machine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heart rate: High heart rate is unlikely to cause a false high reading but might cause a lower reading because of small stroke volume with tachycardia. Chronic blood pressure evaluation should be done with resting heart rate and equilibrium status.
