I titrated to 400mg of lamictal in december. i now have not had a period for 2 months. this has never happened before. gyno did a work up and everything is fine. i keep getting cramps daily. can lamictal cause problems with reproductive health?

Would be very surprising indeed if Lamictal caused menstrual irregularities as an adverse event. Would seek an alternative explanation. Discuss fully with your doctors.

By PDR.NET, amenorrhea (not having period) can be a delayed and mild side effect of lamictal. Of course, if lamictal is the cause of amenorrhea it could affect reproductive health.
