I am on apri birth control but recently titrated lamictal for seizures to 400mg. i did not get my period this month which has never happened before. but i had the cramps and back pain. could the birth control fail from the increased lamictal?

Lamictal at any dose level has never been shown to influence the efficacy of birth control pills. Do, however, discuss this fully with the prescribing doctor and your gynecologist.
