IIH ?: If you are speaking of Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension one must consider replacing the Lithium with something else. Lamictal is a good mood stabilizer for Bipolar Disease. If you are on a stable dose of at least 75 mg twice a day you may be able to taper off the lithium. Zonegran is a weak carbonic anhydrase inhibitor like Topamax (topiramate) and usually has fewer psychiatric side effects.
