If i have a normal variant prominent perivascular space deep in my temporal lobe on a brain mri, is it likely to evolve to being enlarged? what causes this to happen, and can it be a sign of an underlying issue, especially with memory issues?

The described perivascular space is a normal variant of NO pathological consequence. It will not contribute to your symptoms.
