Not unusual at this age of 67 years. Since one is already under Treatment, the Doctor who is managing the BP and who ordered the Echo is quite competent. Stay with Him/Her. More importantly relax and be less anxious. Sometimes more PVC's are kicked off by Anxiety and Stress than by intrinsic heart problems.

Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction is such a common diagnosis on echocardiograms performed on older people that many clinicians disregard it. An echo that includes the measurement of global longitudinal strain, which measures all myocardial segments, is an accurate way to diagnose diastolic dysfunction. Keeping your BP 130/80 or lower is most important to avoid significant diastolic dysfunction.
