Metaplasia suggests chronic irritation which causes the change in cell types lining the stomach& intestine tract. H Pylori plays a role in the stomach. Your colon was clear of pathology. Have you had gastroscopy & study of the small intestine? I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist in the department of gastroenterology at a university hospital near you for a second opinion& for peace of mind.
