I have a short proximal phalanx of hallux in both feet. the proximal phalanx in both big toes are short thus i have a small/short big toe. possibly a shorter metatarsal as well. what can i do to reduce foot pain?

More information would help. Like type of pain. Where pain is located ? What causes the pain? Most common is pain to 2nd metatarsal. You can have joint capsulitis or stress to bone itself. A cost on orthotic made by a podiatrist that follows good bio mechanics ie. Proper method of casting. This should help to distribute the weight.
