I have shortness of breath, trouble getting deep breath, tight, achy chest. doc visit said lungs were clear. i am on 3 inhalers and singular. i had covid 9 mths ago & got steroid pack to get help breathing. if lungs clear why do i have trouble?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Post COVID-19 inflammation may occur and wheezing may be intermittent upon examination. Discuss an evaluation including chest image and pulmonary function testing. A pulse oximeter may be purchased. A virtual consult with HTMG is available.
