Last night i started getting a constant itch side of my right ribs underneath my arm pit and it goes into my shoulder blade to mid back. now burning aching pain. had shingles in 2016 by that area, but i don't have a rash now? not sure what else it is?

It is very common that shingles will start with an itch or "burning" pain and then the rash develops a few days later. The rash will usually follow one section of skin, called a dermatome.
