Sure: We've stopped believing that the brain and the body are unconnected. All of these symptoms are very common with stress. In fact, the gut comes from the same fetal tissue as the nervous system, and is full of nervous tissue. The best way of controlling your symptoms is to control your anxiety. Be careful of muscle relaxants and narcotics, as they are likely to interfere with your anxiety treatment.

Talk Therapy! CBT: Somewhat structured talk CBT therapy is a good treatment. If needed, medications may be recommended. You can learn skills to avoid, reduce and manage anxiety. Yoga might help w/ the body effects. Good luck.

It’s best to have a physical exam to know if you have an illness. If not, you could see a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy for help with your anxiety and, if needed, a Psychiatrist for medication.
