Yes, if the arm is hot : To touch, and you have swelling, and see streaks of bruising going up the arm. Then you have to go immediately in the ER.If it is not hot to the touch, and no swelling or pain, then you need to call your doctor as soon as possible to be seen by her/him, and notify the lab that you are experiencing this too.That has to be documented by the lab manager. Blood thinners or low platelets can do this2
