A member asked:

I was diagnosed with krohns disease after having pyloricstinosis when i was a new born and had to have a surgery. i has an anal prolapse at age 15 and a major surgery and another surgery at 18. could pregnancy nausea meds have caused these issues???

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some anti nausea meds during pregnancy have been known to cause certain developmental defects. Specifically about pyloric stenosis and rectal prolapse is not clearly known. Crohn's disease is not a developmental one but considered to be auto immune. It has to be known what was the drug and how long was it used. FDA will help you if you get the data. Wish you well
