Let's get REAL: You have NOT "depleted my neurotransmitters" in spite of being medicated "for 20 years". Seriously doubt that your Amphetamines have caused you to need to "upregulate my dopamine receptors". Since you seem concerned, find a psychiatrist who is focused on the use of medications, get this evaluated, and then decide on future needs. Or we here at HT could do a virtual consult.
