Can dopamine levels in the brain be measured using imaging? i have symptoms of low dopamine. was on high dose ritalin (methylphenidate) then adderall for many years.

Not available : Currently there is no clinically available test for measuring brain dopamine. Dopamine depletion clinically is seen as Parkinsons Disease which is due to a loss of dopamine from the substantia nigra. Rigidity, tremor, bradykinesia and masklike face are symptoms.
