Can deltoid muscles or nerves become injured and not show up on an mri? pain in my left deltoid began after a vaccination 2 months ago. have pain when trying to lift my extended arm above the shoulder. mri & us only show inflammation and some fluid?

It isn't clear what mean by "not show up". It sounds like it found evidence of inflammation and an abnormal fluid collection, which might explain your symptoms. Discuss with your doctor.
