Positional severe headache, nausea & vomit x2 wks, stiff neck. rt arm pain/weak. brain mri wnl. lp fluid wnl. diagnosed pseudotumor cerebri. cervical mri shows spinal muscle inflammation only; crp 11.5. no known injury. what could cause inflammation?

Inflammation: The pseudotumor cerebri certainly can cause the headaches. Have you been evaluated for polymyalgia rheumatica or temporal arteritis which can cause elevation of crp? A rheumatologist is best qualified to evaluate and treat you for the inflammatory process if present. For pseudotumor a neurologist, neurosurgeon and ophalmologist may be involved in treatment and follow-up care.

Depends: Depends on what they mean by "inflammation". I would also warn that almost every pseudotumor patient I see has "regular migraines" as well.
