Just went to the er because i woke up with abdominal pain and diarrhea, started normal and developed into bloody stool, was given hydrocortisone suppositories, could i develop an infection/sepsis from the bleeding? have apt with gi within the week?

You have an acute gastroenteritis, likely due to bacterial infection rather than food poisoning or viral infection. I am not sure why you were given hydrocortisone suppository unless you have external hemorrhoid by exam. Most of the time, the disease is self limited. Blood in the loose stool does not put you at risk for sepsis. Symptoms are usually improving within a couple days.
