What might have caused hematoma, unusual bruises after diastasis repair, tummy tuck? bruising is vertical, lateral to navel, perhaps along area of rectus plication(?). i had a mild cough that caused excruciating pain for two or so days post-surgery?

A cough can increase the intrabdominal pressure , also a strain on the operative site causing / bleeding/ oozing. Best to let the surgeon know and see. Hope you feel better
