Needs evaluation: Your little one needs an evaluation. Unless you have a good explanation for how the enlarging bruise occurred, I would at least have this evaluted by a doctor.

Most likely: she bruised herself while playing. the contusion at that area was mostly hidden except for the pea size lump as the time passed more of it has come to the skin as it resorbs. If it is still there in a week or if other symptoms develop, take her to be seen.
