Dear doctor, im wondering whether covid infection can cause delay of hiv window period. i tested hiv ag 0.39(co 0.25), negative ab use elisa @25 daysafter exposure. i got covid @day 35, retested hiv use roche ag/ab eclia @30,35,42,43,52 all negative?

You can quit testing for HIV. The testing you have done rules out HIV from the exposure 52 days ago, however, HIV is only one of the STDs. A condom may not protect against HPV, Herpes, LGV, syphilis, pubic lice etc. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.

There are no medical conditions (and no drugs) that alter the reliability or timing the HIV antibody or AgAb tests -- zero, none, including Covid. You have been over tested and the results prove you do not have HIV. No more testing, please.
