The test result is not likely to be affected by the COVID 19 illness. If you experience symptoms including fever, shortness of breath and cough, please have another COVID 19 screening, self isolate and contact your PCP. In most cases, recurrence of the infection does not occur. Discuss receiving the flu and COVID 19 vaccinations with your PCP.

I took 4th gen ag/ab HIV tests exactly 1 month after exposure and then again 6 weeks after exposure. Both negative. Do I need to continue testing? I had COVID at 3 weeks after exposure. Would this impact the window periods for the HIV tests?
