Fna, follicular lesion of undetermined significance (flus), in right thyroid space where thyroid was surgically removed 14 yrs ago. dr wants to wait ,do 2 nd fna in the future. small nodule on left also,should i seek another opinion? pth is high?

This is a complex situation. We need to know more about the high PTH level/s. What is the serum calcium level?. A second opinion is recommended to further investigate now and avoid unnecessary delay.

Left thyroid nodule (2.5). FNA Cytology shows cellular follicular lesion suggestive of neoplasm, oncocytic type. Then further Afirma testing shows Bethesda IV and Benign. Dr says not cancer. Is the Afirma accurate? Should I be worried?
