High blood clotting factors twice, no symptoms. last factor viii at 230% and von willebrand at 220%. i have phobia of doctors / blood taking and was panicking at the moment i took blood. could that be the cause of high values? stress?

I would assume blood clot is the reason you had these blood factors checked. Stress can increase blood factors but not double the normal levels. Please follow with your hematologist for theses abnormalities.

Persistently elevated factor VIII and VWF are associated with increased risk of blood clots in circulation. Inflammation can raise levels of factor VIII and it is important to have follow-up tests. It would be prudent to consult a hematologist. Wish you good health!
