You may have a TMJ problem or a strained Masseter muscle from a big yawn or opening mouth very wide. You may be sleeping on right side with jaw on a hard pillow or surface. Did you get hit on jaw from playing a sport? See a dental pain specialist for exam.

Upper & lower molars are innervated by different branches of the trigeminal nerve. If your Dentist has ruled out dental infection, other causes can be neurologic or physiologic. Consider evaluations by Neurologist, Oro-facial Pain Specialist, or Oral Pathologist.
