The tastes you described can be from both the GERD and from your carious lesions. Have your dentist restore your dentist restore your teeth and have your physician discuss treatment options for your GERD.

Gerd can be problematic. See Barrett's Esophagus. Would be appropriate to see a digestive system specialist, a Gastroenterologist. Concurrently see your General Dentist to have your cavities (infections) treated before they become systematic.
