A member asked:

For esophageal candidiasis that improved with low dose (100 mg) during a week of fluconazole but came back and persisted despite restarting treatment at higher dose 200 then 400 mg, would 800 mg be safer or 200 mg itraconazole / voriconazole?

Esophageal candidiasis is a serious condition, sometimes quite dangerous, and cannot be managed safely with advice on a forum like this. Discuss with the doctor treating you. Good luck.
