But this depends a lot on the particular kind of candidiasis: different for superficial or body orifice infections (vaginal, anal, mouth) than for advanced (e.g. bloodstream) infections. If you mean "systemic candidiasis", that's an urban myth, not a real illness and doesn't need treatment.
