Ive had lots of moderate headaches this entire year now (i dont think its migraines. they r bilateral) and taking medicine helps, and ive tried things that i thought would help (like water) but no matter what it wont work. why could this be happening?

Sounds like your 14 yo child would benefit from seeing her pediatrician. Make an appointment, and have her examined, diagnosed, and treated.
