My mom works a lot and has intensive headaches at least 10 days a month. she has migraine and always takes strong medication. what could the cause be?

See your PCP: Any headache must be viewed as a valid medical disorder and the headache assessment must be comprehensive. Rule out medication overuse headache. See your PCP for headache evaluation, tests, imaging and treatment options.

Self defeating: As Dr Grin implies, "strong medication" especially pain meds can cause rebound and increase frequency and intensity of migraine headaches. She is very close, if not at "chronic daily headaches". See neurologist and handle this appropriately.
