A member asked:

Im currently covid positive (mild symptoms) and my friend is also covid positive. if we quarantine together will either of our symptoms get worse? is it recommended? should i finish my quarantine in a hotel room? i have 3 days left?

As you are both likely to have the same strain of covid I see no benefit of quarantining apart. The germ will affect one as bad as it can once it is established and being around other infected people doesn't change that outcome.

You can quarantine together. Both of you should get a booster dose of Covid vaccine 3-4 months after you recover from the infection. Wish you good health!
