I started having symptoms of covid last monday. tested positive wednesday. quarantine ends today but im still symptomatic. is it ok to be around my dad who is going through chemo? or should i continue to quarantine another day?

Per CDC guidelines, 5 day quarantine may be lifted if fever-free >24hrs. I would wear a mask around your father for the next 1 week.

An alternative action would be to do a COVID test daily once absent symptoms. Also Listerine mouthwashes & lavage posterior nasal regions w. Netti pot of dilute Providine lavage 3x/day (antiviral); only with Dr. approval. Delay visit until COVID test is negative, est. 7-14 days (after the first 5 days). Wear an N95 mask. Vitamin D 10,000 units per day with doctor approval until normal.
