A member asked:

Dominant subserosal 3 cm mass posteriorly with expansion up to 14 mm in the upper endometrium, where there is an isoechoic vascular structure consistent with polyp or submucosal fibroid. would these be seen or felt in a physical exam?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This report of an Ultrasound examination of the Uterus shows a 3 Cm mass in the posterior wall. I believe that it is unlikely that it can be felt on physical examination/Pelvic examination. Ultrasound or MRI scan of the Uterus is the best way to see/visualize this mass for future monitoring of change/s in size of this mass. .
