Hysteroscopy: It sounds like your doctor has already made the diagnosis of an intracavitary uterine lesion -- either a polyp or a submucosal fibroid. Typically the next step is to remove it - a hysteroscopic resection. Your obgyn can discuss the surgical treatment with you. Typically this is a fairly simple outpatient procedure.
