A member asked:

I found out i was pregnant, but super early. beta was only 214. i had an ultrasound, the doctor didnt say anything, but when they report came back, i saw it had a small amount of free fluid. is that always ectopic or can it be normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is best to discuss the ultrasound report with your health care provider who has access to the ultrasound. Ectopic means it is not in the uterus, in this context, and since you did not indicate where the free fluid is and the comprehensive assesment was not done virtually like LMP e.t.c., you are unlikely to get the precise evaluation here.
