A one time fasting blood sugar that is a little elevated does not make a diagnosis. What is your hemoglobin A1C? That is a measure of your average blood sugars over the past 3 months. If that number is less than 6, you are ok. Higher than 6 but less than 7, you would be considered pre-diabetic. Lowering your carbs and increasing your exercise would help to reverse this so have this lab checked.

You should proceed with the assumption that you have pre-diabetes. If you exercise at least 30 minutes a day and lose 5-1% of body weight you have a 60% chance of preventing progress of the disorder. Consulting a nutritionist for diet advice may be helpful. Adopt diabetes diet: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/diabetes/in-depth/diabetes-diet/art-20044295
