41yo f,never smoked and socially drink.had oral biopsy for a white lacy spot on the anterior side of tongue,& came back "mild dysplasia with hyperkeratosis".explain your thoughts?cld the dysplasia be from the hyperkeratosis?also,can i socially drink?

"Dysplasia" is a histological term for "abnormal cells", and does suggest possible further treatment by an ENT physician, as continued dysplasia can result in transformation into early malignancy.
