A member asked:

21 year old male, blood work says a/g ratio is 2.6, is that high and if so what can that mean? i have a genetically large liver, could that be the cause or is it something more sinister?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your doctor may wish to order a serum protein electrophoresis for additional information. It is unlikely to be sinister. Wish you good health!
