My advice at this stage is to consult a podiatric surgeon, preferably one with expertise in chronic postop complications, at the department of podiatry at a university hospital near you. Your current chronic issues require such a specialist.

Usually immediate postop X-rays (while still in surgery) are taken. if the “spur” is not present at this time, during the healing process the spur could have developed. Usually Indicative sometimes that the bone fragments were not secured . removal of spur should be considered
