I asked about ovarian cysts in regards to my pain in groin that radiates down my hip & thigh. went to er, they did a ct scan w/o contrast. he saw no signs of masses or cysts. are these accurate? should i ask about a ultrasound if no improvement?

It will be atypical for pain related to ovarian cysts to radiate down the hip and thigh. Work up is best done as outpatient under your primary care doc or gynecologist, you do not have to ask for tests, let the doc explain options and recommendations.
