Fibroid: Have your doctor or the radiologist compare all 3 scans and figure out what is going on. The pelvic MRI is probably most reliable in this situation. Sometimes if a fibroid is connected by only a narrow pedicle to the uterus, and it extends away from the uterus, it may be obscured on ultrasound by interposed bowel gas.
