Fibroid: Have your doctor or the radiologist compare all 3 scans and figure out what is going on. The pelvic MRI is probably most reliable in this situation. Sometimes if a fibroid is connected by only a narrow pedicle to the uterus, and it extends away from the uterus, it may be obscured on ultrasound by interposed bowel gas.

What is a uterine cyst. I just had a discussion with my OB/GYN the results of my MRI and it shows that I have a large cyst in uterus not a fibroid.
CT found small enhancing lesion of myometrium, suggesting uterine fibroid. I read fibroids rarely show up on CTs unless theyre calcified or necrotic and that rarely happens in women in their 30s. Is this true? How likely is it to be cancer instead?
