We'd like to know the results of the entire cbc& differential count. If the rest of these are within normal limits, I wouldn't be concerned with a slight elevation of monocytes. However a count over 10% is abnormal but would be nonspecific if the rest of the cbc&diff is ok & you're healthy. Otherwise I recommend consulting a hematologist for evaluation and advice.

Is persistent high monocytes always CMML? 87 yo woman, monocytes 2020, 0.90, 2021, 0.97 and 2022, 1.26. Before that for years, always around 0.75-0.80, so always near upper limit of normal of 0.20-0.90, my lab ref. range?

My monocyte % has been "high" for over a year now. At 13%, 13.2%, and 12.1% on my past three blood tests. My monocyte count however has been sitting at 800. My iron/ferritin are low as well (Ferr- 16.2). Is this something I should be worried about?
