I have a bone bruise in my 5th metacarpal and has been about 2 months since the injury. bone is still tender and painful but have full movement. i do have an ortho appointment this week but was wondering how likely it is that i will end up in a cast?

Unless a repeat x-ray shows a "non-union" fracture, healing should be stable after "two months", and a soft cast might be useful, but not require a rigid cast.
