CAM walker: Look into getting a cam walker boot, one of the black boots with velcro straps that goes up to the knee. This will help offload the foot similar to a cast. You can probably find some online, and you will need to wear it for 6 weeks or more. Healing can be delayed if you are a smoker or diabetic.
