Hi dr,i have slightly swollen lymph node under my right ear,slight cold but no fever,i had cold soft drinks continuously for few days.a day back i had syphilis test which was negitive,my dr told it's thorat infection.do i have any kind of std?

No STD is a likely cause of these symptoms. You caught a cold. But if you have been at risk for STDs (new partner, non-monogamous, etc), you should be tested from time to time, regardless of symptoms.
