My dentist came down and hit one of my front teeth with a camera while taking some images. he was not looking and hit my tooth pretty bad. i didn't think anything of it but a month later that same tooth is hurting could this be the reason?

The tooth was traumatized and the nerve injured. It is possible the nerve is dying, and an x-ray is needed immediately. If the tooth looks darker and a swelling is occurring, than a root canal is indicated. Did your dentist explain this possibility of occurring?
